brag about how they did an 04 conversion.
can anyone say.....corolla?
why cant honda come up with something original. first the 01's look like focuseseses, now the 04's look like that gay corolla.

Rep Power: 0 I guess you can call the 04 Corolla gay, but its probably still a better car than the 7th gen (since the 03 Corolla was all new).
More solid, bigger engine, more power, better gas mileage. Wasn't as much fun to drive as the Civic though, and being that I got a great deal on a slightly used LX, the price vs fun ratio was in the Civic's favor.
I almost bought an 03 Corolla back in January. Good thing the dealers weren't willing to deal.
they had one for 12xxx in the paper, but wouldn't sell me an identical one for that price. Then, they wanted to give me only 17k for my WRX (which sold in 8 days at 19.5k).
When I walked in, I was ready to make the deal if I'd get back 5k. All those losers had to do was either give me KBB on my car, or sell me their Corolla at the price in the paper and they'd have had a deal. Man, car dealers are such morons...

Whatever is looks like, it doesn't look unique anymore. The 01-03 models didn't look anything like the classic civics that were so good, but at least they were original cars (at least the sedan was).

toyota has a new youth brand out(although it was designed by blind people)
mazda is blowing up. they got sweet looking cars out, and ones that perform too.
even nissan is outdoing honda.

I think almost all car companies are going to hell. With the exception of the extreme niche market, everything sucks... and I don't have the money for the niche market cars. The EVO, STi, 350Z, G35, RX-8... they're all like $30,000.
What the car companies need to do is make a common man's sports car.

Altima-nice ride, cheap interior, and loads of torque steer.

1 out of 10? I'd say they suck in the design department. I'll stick with Honda.
I will admit that Mazda has been impressive in their new vehicles. The only negative thing I can say about them is that they're still using Fords for their truck and tribute, and the MPV is still boring. Everything else is pretty hot.

Rep Power: 812 The thing with honda is they market their cars toward families and at the same time appeal to the youth. Remember those civic nation commercials? Families don't need a fast car, and the young crowd that wants one can spend a few thousand more to make it fast.
yeah think about it, if a company came out with a "unique" car for a low price, everyone would get it to be "unique." then, it wouldn't be "unique" anymore. your only solution would be to save up for another car that everyone doesn't want or can't afford.
