those headlights are ugly as hell, other than that the car looks the same as all the other civic sedans
I like tha 04 civic better than tha 01-03's..headlights are jus better. Does anyone know if they're gonna come out with any after-market parts for tha 04??.. Will the 01-03 Greddy Evo Exhaust fit on tha 04 Civic Sedan EX? I'm thinkin about buyin this as my 1st car...
WHAT A RIP OF 18,060 FOR A 4DR CIVIC. OR HOW ABOUT 22,000 FOR A 2 YEAR USED S2K i FOUND WITH 25,000 MILES

Who the hell would break into a car through the moonroof? No one is stupid enough to break it and lower into the car..
Like it was mentioned.. People would much rather just break a window if they were going to steal your car. Which they won't even do, since your $18k car is nothing next to that fancy luxury one parked next to you in the parking lot

it's nice i guess ..... i'd still take my 02 over it
damn the coupe must look way better, I love the headlights OMG they are so nice i can already picture projectors for them perfect shape like the s2k kinda and the eyebrow at least, drop that with rims and a kit, IMO that is a tight car, esp the coupe I wanna trade in my civic for one or at least an rsx

i guess the 04 civic owners who wants to fix up their cars gonna have to wait for new developments of bumpers and headlights just like us 01 civic owners did for years...hahahahha
hey how about some far away pics?
so we can see what the entire car looks like with the new front.
the rims looks okay, but gotta see it from a far away shot, to see the whole car.
good pics though.
and finally, better tires. lol. geez.
edit: oh I noticed another thing. they upped the mileage. its 31/38 on an AUTO.. thats pretty good.
and n/m on the far away pics. its on Honda.com now. hehe. didn't know. wow. 04 already. and they messed with the design. its great for future consumer, but it'll kill our car's value.
but yeah 18k? honda's pushing the Civic more and more into an Accord.

Not bad but it looks the same..I still love my 03 ;0
hey bellz did you try Honda of Cleveland?
Someone black out those headlights!
Hmmm....I wonder if the Acura EL will undergo a facelift as well as a result? I haven't seen or heard anything about it yet...

The RE92s are kind of an improvement over the FR690s. My buddy's 94 EX Coupe had the RE92s stock, and he wasn't a big fan of them.
My WRX had the RE92s stock, and they were a mediocre tire at best. They are decent tires for a "regular" car, but for any car that sees spirited driving, the RE92s get greasy in a hurry.
Also, they are noisy and wear out pretty quick (can't compare to the FR690s directly, because the RE92s were on the WRX which was a quieter car anyways). And at 15k, they were about half worn out.
With the crappy roads I drive on in Oregon, my main goal with a tire replacement is going to be reducing the interior noise.

yeah the RE92 isn't great stuff.
but its way better than the FR690s IMO.
Im riding on RE950 right now. good stuff.

Like a lot of you have already mentioned, if those RE92s are indeed the new OEM tire, I'm pretty impressed. Besides the model change, did anyone notice they are wider with a lower profile as well? 195/6015 vs 185/6515 on '01-'03. I assume they would be standard for coupes as well?
i just noticed the coupe has that honeycomb/altezza type grill, i wish the sedan got one of those stock that would look cool.
did a few things interior wise i liked but they changed the headlights and it reminds me of a corolla, or an older accord... the new bumper looks ok, but honda has been going with a V shape on all there new grills on the newer cars, like the RSX has a v shape, and then TSX, the new civic will now sport one. and its just getting over done and old...
OMG!
Hello People?!?!?!?!!!!
Am I the only one that noticed the J at the begining of the VIN?? As in that peticular civic was made in Japan! Not, US, not Canda, but Japan! HOLY CRAP! But look at the parts breakdown, mostly US parts, I bet they are still converting the US/Canada plants for the new changes.., WOW will have to get my G/F to buy one with a J VIN ASAP!!
Woo Hoo!

I really like the back bumper, almost looks like a lip kit...
And the gauges are sweet with the blue in them.
Eh, Im not a big fan of civics anyway, so it doesnt really matter to me. I just cant wait to get rid of mine.

I have a Valid Reason For Not Wanting a Civic With a Moon-Roof.
I want a Full Roof, Like the 2004 Honda Civic LX Sedan Has.

Sorry 04civiclxguy, but not everybody is dissing the new Civic. You have to realize that some 01-03 owners are disappointed that Honda came out with part of a style change ALREADY, especially me because i have an '02 coupe lx which i just got in October of 02...so i havent even had mine a year. And for the 01 owners, alot of them have waited forever for companies to make parts for 7th generation civics...and now they've changed the style again. It's ridiculous. So much for the value of my '02 LX. Originally posted by 04civiclxguy

But $18,500+ for that EX?
lease: grief...ill pass.. Civics are getting even more expensive...
Yeah, older firestones suck. Can't wait to get new tires. Or maybe rims, too.

changing up the game so often.
