Almost immediately after BMW released official pictures of the upcoming 5-Series, spies began seeing the hot M5. Easily identifiable by a new front fascia and larger air intakes, a more aggressive stance, and four huge exhaust pipes, there was no mistaking this for anything else. The 2005 will be pushing 500 horsepower with its all-new 5.5-liter V-10 when it hits the market in 2004.

not to flame on BMW.. but my best friend is a mechanic there and we were actually looking at the brochure today on it at his dealership.. and no the public cant get this brochure its completely hush hush.. so ne way we were staring at the pictures for like 5 minutes not sayin a word.. and then the two of us said the same thing... looks like a mini 7..... god what did they do IMO they ruined that car... it was so pretty.. i remember driving a 2001 in 2000 and when i first saw it in person i was like WOW.. that thing is sick..... i think they totaly screwed up the design along with the 7 series one..... man BMW is going down hill IMO.... take mercedes for example... they're totally changing their styling hues.. but its for the better not the worse like BMW.... who ever designed this body style needs to be fired IMO... and the sad thing is .. I LOVE BMW's.. im a hardcore BMW fan... ever since my friend be came a mechanic there over 5 years ago.. ive gotten to drive , borrow and beat the **** out of them.. and god i love them... everything from the firm but responsive clutch... to the tight steering... I used to manage a parking lot and ive driven almost every car here in the states.... and some that arent... hell i used to smoke blunts in a 2001 bently every sat morning.. I used to burnout in 911's sideways every weekend... but honestly the M5 was my favorite of every car ive driven... ive never been in a car that has felt so in tune with the driver.... only until i get to drive the new M5 will i say anything positive about it...cause right now in my eyes it looks like a brand new saturn!

I made a similar comment about the new styling BMW is flossing lately. I just hate the new headlights. I hope they don't do it to the 3-series.
In comparison to the 7 series - it looks FAR more aggressive. I almost like it on the new 5-series.

I like the looks of the 2005 M5. Looks REALLY aggressive.
