I love this car. In fact I went and looked at one myself this weekend. I think I would pretty much do anything to get one. And all those peeps that are saying how it sucks having Ford own Mazda now are plain dumb. They still make their own cars (at least I think so). So there really is no difference. It's the design and not where it's built that matters. As long as the original Mazda staff designs the cars, it's all good.
I look at a lot of cars already deciding if I owned one, what mods I would put on it to improve looks and performance.
It's funny, cuz when I look at this car, just about the only thing I would put on it is lower it 1" to reduce wheel well gap and MAYBE new rims...But I like what it's got.
Really a fine vehicle.

Did you actually get a quote for the RX-8, though?
Remember, it's got four doors and a backseat. . . . far as some insurance companies go, that makes it a sedan.

The evo has 4 doors and a backseat as well. Maybe the turbo is what killed me(along with my inablity to drive the speed limit). I'm sure my insurance dude is sick of me calling and asking about quotes on this car and that car. But ohhh well...it's his job.

Indeed. . . throwing a turbo into the mix will sometimes raise the rates. . . and a driving record certainly doesn't help, either.

Damn. . . . after one last car show for the Civic over the weekend, I'm officially retiring from car shows. Too much damn ignorance when it comes to some of the judging.
CAN'T WAIT to get my STi in October.
