Well My RX-8 has arrived. I am in houston right now, so I cant get it till sat. morning. GRRRRRR!!!!! I will be trading in the civic. I had to see her go. It has been a great car. Ill be sure to post some pics on sunday. wooohooooo

How much did you end up putting down and do you owe anything on the civic still? What price tag did they get you with? Haggle them down?

im paying 28300 for the 6 speed withthe sport package. MSRP basically. There was no haggling on these cars. They have only been in the states for about a month now. Im putting 2500 down. I owe 9200 on my car, but im not upside down on it. I am going to drive the **** out of it this weekend. LOL

$28,000? thats ****ing nothing dude. they had 2 here, both auto trim with dvd nav systems and they were selling them for $38,000....

i got a blue 6 speed w/sport package. Which just adds xenon head lights and DSC Dynamic stability control. i got the cloth interior. base msrp was 27,200 and the package was 1100.

Blahhhhhhhhh.......insurance screws all my plans. I would love an RX8. But my insurance would skyrocket. I almost bought an evo, and was even closer to buying a 350Z. But my insurance quoted me almost DOUBLE what I pay now. Funk that. I need some of those stupid insurance companys where you can list and evo as a lancer with an OZ package.

Did you actually get a quote for the RX-8, though?

Remember, it's got four doors and a backseat. . . . far as some insurance companies go, that makes it a sedan.
