Question ive got a situation

I have a 2003 Ex civic with about 9500 miles on it. Before i got my vic i was a die hard integra fan and wanted one badly!

Anyway, long story short, i found one for sale by my house that i had looked at previously but wasnt for sale at the time. The lady is asking $7000. its a 96 GSR with 86000 miles, good condition.

I dont know if i should give up a brand new car for a used one or not. Although i wouldnt have to have any car payments either with the tegy because of the equity on my vic. What should i do?

if ur not going to get rid of the civic, then i dont see why not?

you could always use the civic as your show car since it cant be made fast, while the gsr would be ur 'speed-demon.'

civicdude will become famous soon enough
Guys please stop going off topic....Lets stick to the subject. Ithink you need to creat a list of pros and cons. List why you should get this car and why you shouldnt. The first thing would be that the civic is newer and you know what its been through. You will most likely not have any problems with the civic, and you still have a warranty on the car in case you do. Im sure also the civic has low miles on it still. The Integra has 86k miles, and even though it is an Acura, they can still have its problems....Timing belts, water pumps, over heating, regualar ,maintenance that happens on high mileage cars....etc.

All in all I would stick with the civic for now...and in the future you can always do an engine swap. If not you will have a low mileaged, reliable car that you shouldnt have any problems with, and if you do you are covered by your warranty.

But thanks for your help. im still debating on what to do cause i work for honda and the mechanics repeatedly say my car is a peice of junk and the worst vic ever made, i personally like the looks of the vic but im in love with integras.

i was debating on whether or not i should get a new car...not really new but like a 00-01 integra! i really love integras! but then i figured i only owe about 2 years on my car so i should just keep paying it so that its mine and then buy a 2nd car! as for yourself i wouldnt do it...stick with the vic and do the swap later!
