03 coupe EX m/t for $15125+++ ??

i dealt with my dealer..actually i didnt really deal with them..i just requested a price quote
and one of my local dealer replied me offering $15,125+++(means excluding tax and fees) for 03 coupe EX m/t..
i was happy with this price so i talked him for about 2 weeks and im going to get one from the factory..not from their lot..
once i tried to deal with him for lower price but he just cut me out saying that its bottom price..
i gave him my information since i decided to buy this one..and he said i have been pre-approved for 1.9% APR!! dont kno if they will trick me later..
anyways, how do u think about my deal? is it good?

what ways can i get a good deal for options? ppl would say "if he doesnt agree with what u offer, then leave" but actually he already noticed that i need a car and will buy this one..so its gonna be kinda hard..and i DONT want to miss this car..
tell me whats good ways to get a good deal..

and if u kno let me kno some of tricks that dealers use..actually i researched about car dealing..(yes i did my homework) just wanna get some more..and since i just have been in this country for only 2yrs and few more months, my english sucks so bad, it would be very hard for me to deal cuz dealing is all talking work..

sorry for the length..help me plz..

I agree....thats a very very good deal. Stick with that, not sure you will find it for much cheaper than that. I don't think they will pull anything. I got my car for 16,500 and i thought i got a deal seeing the MSRP was 18,500...Congrats on the deal

as i told u its before taxing..i think its good tho
but two of my friends dont agree with me
cuz one of them got 01 si for 16000 and another got 01 or 02 ex coupe auto for 15000 or something..
just forget about si (he got it very cheap tho..3000 below sticker)
but in case of coupe ex A/T.. he got a/t which is 800 more on sticker and its 123 BELOW my M/T price..oh well..
still good?

I agree, it sounds like a good deal. I least where I live, that would be considered a great deal.

slamtank, you don't already have a Civic? Just wondering since you've been asking me all those questions. Or are you trading it in for a manual? That's what I want to do also.

Nah, it's coo. Don't worry about it. I didn't mind.

It's coo that you convinced your dad to allow you to get a manual. I'm going to wait until November (when my car makes a year), then I might trade it in for a manual.

getting lip kits as a part of deal..

ima planning on civic coupe EX m/t in this month
actually im in process..
i think i will deal for OEM front and rear lip kits and AERO side as a part of deal..
my question here is..
do honda dealers kno what OEM front and rear kits are?
im sure they kno AERO since its on their pamphlet(spelling)..
but i never saw any info about OEM front and rear kits at dealer or honda website
and i think theres two kinds of OEM kits..correct me if im wrong..
anyway do u think honda dealer kno what OEM front and rear lip kits are?
im concerning that they will install whole AERO kits..
OEM front and rear lip kits that im talking about look like these in the pics

i will link azure's ride for pics..i beg ur understand for this..im advertising ur nice looking ride tho..lol
he has OEM front and rear with AERO sides..so those are what i want..

AZURE's ride

any recommended stragety of dealing for options?
ima use this..first i will lower my wanted price and when sales says "no", i will say, "ok, well, then can u give me this and this instead? i kno it will be cheaper for u to give me those than to sell a car for my wanted price"

Just wait a couple months until they start closing out the SIs. My friend picked up a 02 SI for $15,300 in January. This is one month after I bought my EX for $14,200 .

Yes, they know what the OEM front and rear are. They should know the difference between Aero and OEM. The Aero kit only came out in 2003, if I'm not mistaken. They have folders filled with pictures of accessories you can get for your car. You can ask them for that and show them exactly what you want.

It's coo, I don't mind that you linked my ride. lol.

About asking the dealer to add the kit on for free. I'm not sure about that. You can try though. Hehe, I asked the dealer if he could add on the 03 EX (99-00 rims) for free, but he said I doubt I can do that because it costs over $1000. Oh well, I have a set laying in the garage anyway, hehe. All I got was free floor mats.
