Buying an EK9

Hello All,

I’m trying to get back into Honda I use to own a 95 Honda Civic EX that was modified then I changed to BMW’s. I’m trying to get back into Honda’s and looking at EK9’s. I love Initial D and I’m trying to make the Yellow Type R form the show. Anyway can you let me know what you guys think of this car and if it’s worth the money.

Re: Buying an EK9

I believe that's actually an EJ6. If you want a genuine EK9, they're RHD and have a B16B in them. Personally, that seems like an absurd amount of money. It's basically just a GSR-swapped civic hatchback. If it had the B16 in it, that would be a completely different conversation, but you can find B18C1's pretty easily, so it won't appreciate it that much.

It's a cool car, no doubt, but you could do something similar for a lot less than 9k.
