98 Honda seat belt problem
98 Honda seat belt problem
Hey guys, in my search to get back into a Civic, I saw this 98 DX with 180,000 miles, not as clean as the 97 EX that I posted about earlier, but closer to the price I'm willing to pay. Problem with the DX is the front passenger seatbelt does not buckle. What does it take to fix that problem? Will I have to unbolt a whole new belt and/or straps? I know it's not just a matter of changing the buckle because don't seat belt straps get manufactured with the buckle stitched in? Please let me know, hope to come to a decision soon. TIA
Re: 98 Honda seat belt problem
And the decision may be between a high mileage Civic with a timing belt or a 2001 Mercury Cougar with a 6 cyl and timing chain with less than 100,000 miles. I'm pretty sure I know what advice I'm going to get in this forum on which one to choose...lol.

You might make sure someone didn't drop a coin in the slot first though.
