Seat Belt Replacement

97 HX:

The driver's seatbelt finally broke in two. Is it possible to replace just the belt without the retractor mechanisim and other hardware? I can get a new Honda belt for about $75. Just wondering if I can install it myself.

(Dealer wants $350 - No can do!)

Thanks for any help/ideas.

Yeah ov course u can check out you tube u will prob find a usefull how to video there

Of course you can? Others have told me you can't replace just the belt. (The say whole retractor/belt assy.)

If I remember correctly, doesn't honda have a lifetime warranty on seat belts?
