Technically they do have iVTEC (for economy), but not what everyone calls true VTEC.

what about the type s so they have only diferend front bumper or does it have any diferent engine type because the normal 8th gen has the samo hp as the type s?

If it has the 1.8L R series engine then it has the economy version of iVTEC. None of the R series engines got the real version as far as I know.

well im not very familiar with the new iVTEC were us the diference from the normal VTEC and is it even wort buying a iVTEC honda civic becoyse um in the market of buying a 2008 - 2009 type s

Looks like the Type S has a 1.4 making 100hp.

It doesn’t matter what type of VTEC it has. This is an economy car.
