Block heater location

New to my Daughter, 2006 Civic DX, 1.8L. Did a small search as to the location of the heater to no avail. Google says front left(driver) side. I see a pretty big bolt, like a 22mm or something . Is that where I put the block heater?

Re: Block heater location

Not sure what that quote is all about, but found the plug in the front of the block and swapped it for the heater. Worked awesome. We have -40* C up here in northern Manitoba, Canada so I think a proper heater could make the girls life a little easier.

I opened this account on my daughter's behalf and will sign my name when its me askin', if anyone cares......

The quote is simply part of his signature. It has nothing to do with your inquiry.
