My son just bought it yesterday. 53K miles. Looks and drives very well.
It is a rebuilt title and I realize that they are always a bit of a risk, but I think he did well. Paid 6800.
First Civic of this or any other gen. Have owned a few Accord and Odysseys. Just wanted to stop in here to see if there is anything that should require attention soon.
I did give it a pretty thorough look over. Didn't see any signs of damage. Whatever hit it took, couldn't have been that bad. Guess it doesn't take much to total these things.

Not a bad grab. KBB for fair condition for that car is at the 6900-8000 mark, so you paid under blue book. But, kbb doesn't take rebuilt titles into account. If it drives straight, seemingly no issues, you should be good. Just keep up with regular maintenance, inspect rubber parts every so often (motor mounts, lower control arm bushings mainly), and make sure your son treats her well.
