turn steering wheel & engine RPM increases

turn steering wheel & engine RPM increases I am parked and engine is idle. Engine is not cold as I have driven the car for 6 miles.
When I turn the steering wheel, engine RPM goes up and stays up until I let go of the steering wheel.
I bought this car used so I am not sure if this is normal or not.
I tried to upload a video but the site has 5mb limit on file uploads. I will try to see if I can upload it somewhere and add the link.
