I have a 2013 black Honda with faded paint. The fender paint started cracking a year after I bought it and then the hood. Last year the roof and the trunk started fading and the clearcoat came off. Honda sent me a letter that they are liable and will repaint the parts to the car where the paint is faded. I took it to the dealership and they didn’t do anything. Finally after numerous calls to America Honda And waiting over two months going back-and-forth I am bringing my car to get painted tomorrow. If you have the same problem with your paint don’t waste your time with the dealership. Get American Honda to contact the dealership first otherwise he will just be ignored. Once America Honda has contacted the dealership reach out to them don’t wait for them to contact you. I was told the whole car won’t be painted but only fenders roof hood and trunk.
