Carbon Cabin Air Filters

Just replaced both Cabin Air Filters useing the "Carbon type" on mine & wifes ended up buying from the Local CarQuest as they had Best Price over any one else in town. funny thing with the Carbon Cabin Air Filters i noticed when shopping around for one online is there seems to be a substantial Price difference from one Auto Parts supplier to the next even though the (Carbon filter type) - notice i have Carbon filter in brackets so as to not mix them with regular non - carbon Cab filters....are basicaly all of a paper element made in China. Iam however thinking of getting a re-useable one like this one from Napa though anyone have One like this in there Civic & does it actually stay clean...? not sure why pic is upside down soory.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

"Carbon type"
Activated charcoal? I see them in cars from time to time, they seem to be great at first but after they get loaded up with trash they can still stink like any other
& does it actually stay clean...?
It cannot stay clean if it does its job.
You have to wash it out every so often. That's what makes it reusable.

Price-wise, is it worth it?
How many normal filters can you buy for the price of that K&N?
How many years will it take you to use up that many cabin filters?

(FWIW I just changed mine for the first time @32,000 miles, it was loaded with leaves)
