2017 LX screen issue

2017 LX screen issue So I just bought a 2017 Civic LX the other day, and a couple days later the screen inside won’t show the song information. It only shows the time. If I press menu or any other button, it will act accordingly, however it just won’t show the song/station information. The only time it does is when I press the ‘Select’ button it will pop up for half a second and go right to ‘Music Search.’ Does anyone know how I can bring it back or does it require maintenance?

Try turning the car off and back on again to see if that helps, or reboot the display by holding down the power button for 5 seconds. I would take it back to the dealership, it should be under warranty anyways.
I had an issue with my display screen the other day where it wouldn't stop beeping, and the screen was flipping between the audio options, to the menu, etc (while driving). I had to pull over, turn the car off, and back on. This stopped the issue. This happened during a thunder/lighting storm, so I wonder if these cars have issue with electro static interference? I contacted the dealership and they said they will certainly take care of it for me. I don't know what that means.....yet. I see them next week.

Old thread, but the solution to this problem is actually to hit the day/night button on the top left of the color audio head unit.

UPDATE.
After having my display unit start beeping again, also during rain storm. This time I was able to take a short video of it, and sent it to the dealership. they replied right away, saying they couldn't find any SB on the issue, so the only option was to replace it. So they did. So far so good, time will tell I guess.
