damn boy, need to simmer down on your shifting. Spending more money then it is worth. Do you have any clutch upgrades if you are running n20?

Manual transmition I assume? Why would you need to replace the whole transmition? Just get a new clutch that can handle the abuse.

i wish... the first time i blew it i was under the original factory warranty of 36k miles. so i got a freebee. the tranny would pop out of second....untill it wouldnt go into second at all.....ect. now my car is around 50k miles. this tranny works but i have to hold it physically in 3rd and 5th or it will pop out. not to mention the horrible sound comming from the car as i let off the accelerator.

Wow, that sucks ***** man. It really is the tranny then. Mine used to pop out of second, but somehow it doesn't anymore. That was a common problem with the 2k1's.

Hmm... Maybe. Actually, you might be right. The RSX is the same though, isn't it? Then again, it did come out in 2002. Maybe the RSX owners lucked out? Actually, not that I think of it... Mine used to pop out of second because I didn't engage it properly. Now I notice that it's hard to engage. Maybe the problem is that it engages sooner than it should and the driver thinks that it's fully engaged, but it really isn't. Then when you rev the engine it pops out. That might be the problem with 2nd. I know that the synchro for the 2nd gear is "special" in some way and that it was designed to be easily engaged.
