I want to go through my motor and get stronger internals,some head work, turbo,exhaust,etc. How can i still pass inspection? Will a Hondata computer take care of that? What about trick sensors? Any help would be nice. Hate to dump 3 grand into a motor i cant drive in NY state.

Well as far as exhaust goes, use a good high flow cat if you have a test pipe in there now.

emission laws are tough, I am facing the same issue with my Mustang and Massachusetts laws are even more stringent

exhaust and a turbo wont necessarily set off an engine light, which is what determines your pass or fail of a nyc inspection. upgrade to a high flow cat, make sure the o2 sensors arent destroyed in the exhaust change, and see what happens. ive had plenty of turbo'd and supercharged cars in my shop for inspections and they have all passed with no problems. until this year there were ways around inspections on cars w/ an engine light, but the ***** over at dmv changed the software to prevent that from happening. im still trying to figure out a way to get around it!
