Clear Headlights?

Yes, I know and understand how to clear the headlights on my civic, but I want to know if it is legal in the state of CT??? I know they defenitely look better, but before doing so I would like to make sure that I don't have to spend money or time putting them back together. Does anyone know about this in CT? Remember, different states have different regulations.

As far as I know nobody will bug you in any state as long as you have amber bulbs for the turn signals. Although some states (like Texas) don't even require that.

Do amber lights show up when looking at the light or do they only shine amber? Cause I want that clear look.

They show up when looking at the light. There's these bulbs made by Philips that look silver yet light up amber. You might want to look for some. Although I don't think they make any in 7443 yet.

I have cleared out corners and Blueish PIAA bulbs, and I've never been stopped or even questioned.
I've had state troopers and local police and all sorts of MA police see my car at night with not only my blinkers on, but they've even been blinking (which I was kidna affraid of in the begining)
cuz if you have blue flashing lights, they can say that you were trying to impersonate a police officer. and they lock you up and trow away the key for that one.
I've been pretty lucky so far, and hopefuly I will continue to be fine, the real test will be next month when I have to get my car inspected, cuz sometimes cops will let little stuff slide, and inspection places can be real hard@$$es (when they want to be)

well good luck.
