Civic 1.5t

Guys,
I have got 2018 civic 1.5t looking to put 18x9 or 18x8.5 wheels. With the first step with 265/35 or the second 235/40 tires
Have any of you got similar set up and have you got any rubbing issues?
also is 265 tires too wide for it?
I don’t like stretched tires so I’m looking to get flush fit tires and wheels as well as flush fit with the fenders.
see attached pictures the smaller tire will have a look as it’s stretched.

Re: Civic 1.5t

what offset you looking at getting? is that ET35 in the pics what you're looking at getting?

I'm personally looking at getting 18x8.5 et35 with either 235 or 245/40-18's.

im looking at offset of 35
235 tires are almost the same as the original but 245/35 are smaller diameter 245/40 are bigger
look at this site

Re: Civic 1.5t

235 is actually the OEM spec for factory 18's (Mine came with 235/40-18's). Figured I'd give 245's a go for a little bit of extra bit of treadwidth without poking too much. 245's with 18x8.5 et35's are just shy of being flush, and I don't feel like rolling fenders
