Car Show & DragFest

Hello Everyone! Hope your all ready for this winter to be over, I know I am! Just to give everyone a heads up: On August 1-3, 2003 there will be a huge car show and dragfest at QuakerCity Raceway in Salem, Ohio. Here is a run down of what will be happening-
*1000+ Show vehicles on display
*1/4-Mile Drag Racing
*Bikini Contest
*Hydraulic Contest
*Neon Contest
*Shop the Vendor Area
*Fun Runs
*All Paved cruising lanes
*Midnight Drag Racing
The event is called Slam Jam 8 & DragFest, it is being put on by Properly Grounded out of Hudson. If any one wants to be in the car show, registration before July 15 is $25.00 and after July 15 is $40.00. There are hotels near by and camping. For race information go to www.quakercityraceway.com or call 330-332-5335, (or you can just ask me cause I work for QuakerCity) and for show info go to www.properlygrounded.com or call 330-608-0625. I hope that some of you come out to take part in this, it was a blast last year and it is supposed to be bigger this year. I would love to meet some of my 7thGen buds and check out there rides. I'm tring to get my car done by then to put it in the show.. You never know a member might win!!! I will be posting this again when the date gets closer!! i went today and it was lots of fun. i didnt enter the show, just the drag. it was $15 for unlimited drags from 9pm-1am. i got in about 8 drags. it was well worth it. there were lots of fast cars there!! my best time was 17.383. what was your best?
