detroit heads...
well theres only 3 of us (me, bobbyd, stylin2k2) thats close to detroit, and none of us has turbo.. and i never heard of races by the metro airport.. doesnt seem like such a good spot to race cuz theres alot of cops by the airport..

me? i've from metro D, just north east in roseville. next month payn is putting a turbo in. i talked to him about the one from TP, and he said he can but the same kit together but cheaper. i want a new computer...probably the AEM EMS, and a custom thermal R&D turbo back exhaust mandrel bent. he said he'll dyno the car before and after the turbo so i should have some charts to post. hey, you guys want to get a booth in street dreams part 3? i'm trying to get my car ready by then. hopefully in early spring i can get my car painted in toronto and it'll be ready to go by june. what u ppl think?

Rep Power: 0 i may be in. i dunno yet. sin city said i can put my car in their booth with mike's yellow ITR. i kinda wanted to get a booth full of 7thgen's though. i'll keep ya'll posted when SD3 get's close. do we have meets here in metro? should we? some of the 7thgen's aren't on this site, cuz i just saw one on the way home from work. black w/black rims, me thinks thermal R&D exhaust and lowered. the dood's name is david and goes to MCC south campus. we're not the only ones modding 7thgens in the area. so maybe we could have a meet not like every week, but like once a month or so. what do ya'll tink?

Rep Power: 0 Yes you are welcome to sign up and we have meets every tuesday downriver (southgate) at a shop called flexivity its on fort st. between eureka and pennsylvania plus XceedSpeeed is having a BBQ tomarrow at kensington park in lot C which will probably turn into a carshow so if you would like to come out to that
i wont get jack done over the winter, except maybe a drop.. im considering teins too. i work about 30hours a week.. so thats like 165 a week before taxes.. and i get paid every 2 weeks. if i save up for like 2 months, i should have enough.. and i'll probably ask mike(yoko) to install em for me

Rep Power: 0 speakin of moddin other 7thgens...I saw another silver civ last night...rims, fart can, drop, tint, oem kit, huge alum spoiler, w/altezzas riding down grand river...I know there is a black one up here too thats got some stuff to it too...I have yet to make contact with these foolios tho....
havent heard much about the b&g. they company seems pretty decent. right now im not sure if i wanna keep my car. thinking about selling it or trading it in. sucks when all ur buddies are swapped, nitrous'd or turbo'd.

Hey.. there are street races in detroit. 6 mile and outerdirve. I've been down there a few times. It's pretty crazy.. just like something out of a movie. More people are there on firdays but alot show up for saturday too.

Rep Power: 0 This cold weather stinks! Looks like this might be our last Xceed meet tonight for a while. I am trying to get a weekly Xceedspeed pool night going. Looks like I have a lot of interest in the local boys for doing this. 
Should be sweet. We are thinking of meeting at a pool hall or "billiards club" one day a week and shooting some. I think that it would be good to use the new Snookers being built in Southgate. They should open sometime in November which will be great. So, if there are any pool players here and want to do a weekly "pool meet" this winter with us xceed guys, go over to xceed and join the forum!
