Well... last night at arouond 11:00PM I was on my way to Canada to have a bit of fun with some firends. I was on I94 heading west (actually south but thats what the signs read) And I was around 8mile and a 7thgen blue civic blew by me doing about 100. So I jamed he gas and tryed to catch up and when I did I noticed he had a loud a.ss exahaust and a silver decail kit on the side. He was sitting on buttons thought (steelies with no hubbies) We diced for a little bit and reached about 110-115mph. Mind you I had 2 other people in my car. It was pretty crazy, bobing in and out of traffice which was kinda heavy for the time of night. He got off around like outer dirve I think?? I'm not to sure though. Does anyone know who it was?? Or if he comes here? Later all

~nick~
I don't know who it was but if someone is weaving in and out of heavy traffic at 115 mph around me I would not be happy about it to say the least.

dood...I would break someone if I knew someone who did that with me on the road...There is just no reason for that...Find a deserted backroad or better yet...the track....

whoever it was probably took his rims off for the winter like me...or his just acting like he's got some...I've seen a blue tricked out civic, but it was up on 696 by the orchard rd exit....

Well, I think all together it took Edgar and me (he did most of it) about 3 hours. It was dark so we stopped and I finished putting the fronts together the next day. But yours is all new and should not be hard to get anything off. I also have a kick butt electric impact gun for the hard bolts. All you need is a spring compressor whcich you can rent at autozone.

MAGNAFLOW....quiet when it needs to be...makes a nice low rumble when pushed...but not that annoying sound like someone is riding a go kart...

Hey platnum when you are ready let me know cause I know our suspension like the back of my hand i've already installed coilovers on 2 7thgen and it is easy as heck! the back usually take about an hour and the fronts should take between 1 to 2 not more than 3 hours just bring some brew!!! i'll be attempting to install some Tiens if i get them, some where in febuary if not i'll probably wait till it gets warmer I dont have any heat in my garage im going to dump the groundcontrols and go with a full coilover system our shocks are not made for any type of drop!

yea, its a 2.25" piping. but cuz of the whole cat deal that went down, i have to replace the downpipe and the cat (which is on its way). so if you want to trade thats cool with me. by original, you mean your stock exhaust? if so, i'll do it in a heart beat. i need stock pipings BAD

wasup guys?...Hope your x-mas was good...

Edgar...Not too sure what my path is gonna be with these coilovers...I'm thinking of dumping them...but

Tomo...Did u get generic rear uppers and lowers....???....My gf got me the generic for those two spots too...
Obviously she also got me the coilovers, and she got my eyelids...pretty sweet...

Bobby...Did you make sure you're grounded good...?...Also, check to make sure the connections to the battery fromt the alternator are well exposed to the contacts...On my old contour I had installed fogs and two amps, and all the additions to the battery didn't give a clean connection...so my battery never charged right...Also...maybe you're just draining to much outta the car...but u said your amp isn't hooked up...sooooo

well, i went and bought a battery charger with a built in ammeter so what i can do now is:
watch the ammeter and start pulling fuses until the ammeter goes down. when it does that should mean that the problm is on that circuit. my guess is the alarm though. the alram is not grounded good, so it looks.
