well guys, im plannin on gettin a new exhaust system.. dont know which yet. maybe the DC TCS. but then i have to rebuy new cat and downpipe cuz of wat happened when i got my first one installed . you guys suggest any other exhaust systems (catback)?

Why are you doing this? And you don't have to bye a new cat and downpipe at all. If the cat back does not fit right have the shop make it fit.

That is what I am trying to figure out...why would you spend all that money on a new exhaust then do it all over again? And then why do you ant to buy another downpipe and cat? Just trying to help Tomo.

cuz when they put back the cat on, the tore the thing up.. like where the O2 censor goes, where the cat connects to the pipe and downpipe.. its gone to *****.. so i'd rather have a cat and downpipe thats in good shape, and then sell my exhaust.. and then just get a DC TCS system. and the exhaust i have now, its starting to sound like angry bumble bees

but i duno how im ganna ship the exhaust when i take it off.. its ganna be from the downpipe all the way to the muffler.. sooo long and heavy

lol yea i know.. well i figure 100 for the cat/downpipe (already in process) then i want DC TCS.. so unless i can find a good deal on a new one, im ganna dish out the 500 for it

EDIT: found DC TCS for 489shipped. new DC TCS new is like close to 600 bucks. if not more

Well, I am working on my new preject as we speak. I went and got an optima battery today. It is about 2 inches wider than the stock one so i had to modify my stock battery shelf. it was easy. i am waiting for the paint to dry so i can put it back on. I also ordered some gold battery terminals for it. hopefully they will be here this week so I can get those on.

well, i got the battery shelf all done and painted back black. the paint chipped off bad when i pounded it with a hammer...go figure [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]. My gold terminal shipped today so they should be here in a couple days. i have to go tomorrow and get a bigger ground just to spruce things up. i hope to have it done by friday so i can get the hatch in the garage and swap headers. i like these little projects..i need to keep doing them all winter long so i can get the cars done by winter. oh an i found someone with a total intake swap out of an si for my hatch!!! woo hoo!!

an update on my car, its phuked to hell. damn icey roads are a biatch. was driving down ryan approaching 19 mile rd. big @ss suv in front of me so i changed lanes. light was red so i braked, brakes locked up, i had the choice of hitting the van that was already at the light or swerve off the road. so i swerve off to avoid hitting the van, jumped the curb and nailed a light pole dead on at 40mph.

oh yeah, then biatch *** allstate calls me and tells me they did an estimate on the car this morning. i specifically told them to call me in advance before they go out. sorry b!tch @sses didnt call me. plus the guy was like redneck "uhh i didnt know." then they decide to tell me that my front bumper wont be covered since its aftermarket. then i told him if he'll be replacing my shocks since they might of blown when i hit the curb, he was like it looked like it sat ok. told him it may look ok but still can be blown. i swear, f*king crackheads. dude im just thinking about fixing this sorry *** car and getting something else.

by the way, anyone interested in some 03 si seats i bought but wont be installing anymore? make me an offer, cuz i have to pay for the deductable.
