Saturday june 15 shawnee mission park 7:00 pm. i know there arnt that many people on this board. that are in kc but we can all meet and have a good time.
i can probaby get pizza free from one of my jobs (or i can get something else from sams club). but if anyone has any other suggestions. let me know. and how many people you are bringing pm me with ideas

i wouldnt care if all group one came out. its just a bunch of people getting together checkin out eachothers cars. i just need to know how many people. so i can talk to my boss and see what kinda deal i can get. i just need to know by next tuesday. thats the last day i work there that week until the fallowing sunday. so i gotta talk with him. and see what i can work out. i would rather have too many poeple there then just me and 1 other person.

i can understand that... well, if we came there would be about 10-12 of us... but don't count us in yet - i'm not sure if we could make it out there... Our Group meet is in Harrisonville this month and that would be quite a drive from Shawnee Mission Park to Harrisonville (or vice versa)...

i wouldnt care. i drive 5k miles every 3 mo anyways. so a 30 mile drive isnt bad for me. i just dont want any other 7th gen's to not want to take the drive.

i would say come on down, but this month's meeting is strictly MembersOnly... our July meet is going to be open to everyone. we do our meetings in a couple of different ways: when we're getting ready for a show or something we have restricted meets that way we can get right to the point and not waste any time, they're strictly for the fully qualifying members that have their mods and status and have been let into the Group. On other occasions (like next month) we have meets that are open to the public - those meets are open to members, soon-to-be-members, wannabes (that just want to hang out to be part of something), friends, neighbors, whoever... get it? i hope you guys aren't pissed or anything - but that's the way we have to do things in GroupOne. once we(I) know you guys better and know what you guys are all about then i could arrange special invites to our MembersOnly meetings... but for right now i have other people to answer to and i can't bend the rules.

are you and Matt really the only 2 planning on going to Shawnee Mission Park? where's all the KC peeps at? i know there's more 2K1's than that running around... what's the deal? do they not know about this site? i gotta get me some 2k1civic.com vinyl from derek so that i can get the word out!

hopefully it can get planned a little better with a little more notice so that more people can make it out to the meet. the one from a couple weeks ago ended up just being a couple of guys - not enough people could make it - and not enough people knew about it. the next one will have to be planned better.
