Fuel Filter Importance
Does the fuel filter play a roll in mpg performance? I don't believe my honda has ever had it's replaced, it's at 170,000+ atm.
What's a good brand to buy? Just an OEM brand?

I dont know if it affects MPG but it is a good idea to replace it with that many miles. I replaced mine with one from o'riellys and no problems for 20k miles. just be sure to replace the crush washers

it only needs to be replaced when the fuel pressure drops below spec. either the injectors get the fuel they need or not.
