If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: engine fan problem??
Broken. Duh.....
You should have the fan itself, a condensor fan if it has AC, a few fuses, a couple of relays, the PCM, a temperature sensor, and a pile of wire...
You need a wiring diagram and a plan.
You might be jumping the gun, too.
What makes you think it doesn't run?
What evidence do you have?
See the 2 wire sensor on the thermostat housing? Unplug it and jumper the 2 wires. Turn the key on. See if the fan runs.

Re: engine fan problem??
Ha? What?
Idle means nothing.
The fan shouldn't come on until the coolant temp at the thermostat housing is 212*F. It can take a LOOONG time to get that warm, and if there is a cold breeze it may never need to run the fan.
Got AC? At least one fan should run when the AC runs.

Overheating or loss of coolant, heater blowing cold
