Angry WTF!?! I don't think this should look like this(PIC)

I just got my Injen SRI from Adventon.com and the 90 degree cast head that attaches the the throttle body doesn't look to kosher. the stub where the air temperature sensor plugs into looks bent. Do you think I could get away with the install, maybe open it up with force or something. Or should I just send it back.

Opinions please. Here is a pic

Because Injen is crap. Their products are cheap. I've also seen their hose connector split right in half.

This a reason I stick with AEM.

Send it back man.... Unless you can fit the sensor in nice and snug... But personally I would call them first and then send it back...

Only one way to find out go unplug the sensor on the car and see if its anywhere close. Dont forger you will need the gasket from the stock intake. Good luck man. If it doesnt send that shiznit back.

That's because there are no gains with Injen intakes.

your always gonna have some problems with products no matter who the maker is, thats part of natures affect. AEM has an intake that claims it gives you more hp then their first one, this isnt true you all have seen the dyno's so thats kinda bad on their part, and IMO makes them look ignornant. Injen has not done that to themselves

Injen

what strut bar issues are you reffering to. I have a AEM CAI with a strut bar not fitment issues whatsoever.

Definetely return it man.

AEM and Injen both make high quality products. It's just a matter of personal choice.

Personally, I prefer AEM over Injen.

With an AEM CAI or SRI you can't get any strut bar you want. Only two fit, as I am sure you know.

That was my point

K&N is engineered to fit. No crappy silicone rubber "adapters". The whole thing was made just for a 7th Gen Civic. The other guys just bent some tubes, made some brackets and threw them together.

yea u cant expect absolutely every single product they make to be 100% perfect... it was a manufacturer's defect, he can just send it back and get himself a new one... it happens to everyone... AEM, Injen and im sure K&N

I was referring to the design and fit of the entire intake. The FIPK actually fits like it was made for our cars. The others are "adapted".
