revo short shifter? is it any good?
hey guys, i just wanted to know what is up with the revo short shifter? is it a good quality part, work great? look good? easy to install? please llet me know, cuz i want one " i think" thankz
I just got it not too long ago and I love it. Easy to install, looks awesome. But I made the mistake of not buying the new clips and stuff off Grey. Definitely do that and you will be nothing but happy!

IF you searched you would find enough threads to keep you busy for a week.
The best upgrade that I ever made to my civic...I sold it though..you get used to it after a while and it won't even matter.

Cap Yoda wont have bushings in for a couple of more weeks. So if you want to pay double and get them right away go with http://www.kumosport.com.

Re: revo short shifter? is it any good?
What happens to your trannie when you have short fast shifts? What do you have installed and what has your experience been?
I was warned by the shop that I might experience "lock out" (or was it lock up?) because the synchros will not have time to mesh if I am shifting too quickly. I think I am still going to install on anyway. I think the stock is a really sloppy piece of worksmanship.
Thank you.

Re: revo short shifter? is it any good?
B&M makes one and so does Buddy Club. They all have the same design as the Revo, but I don't know if any one is better than the other. Just stay away from the adapters out there that simply raise the location of where the cable affixes to the shifter. I've got the Revo and bushings (ref the DIY in my sig) and have been really happy with it.

They make those for '99 LX's that you know of? I can't seem to pull anything up on it.
