Rep Power: 0 HKS Hi-Power rear section exhaust clip with stock resonator
There is a clip already with a different resonator, but a few people wanted a clip with the stock resonator. You can also hear that I have a stock intake.
There are two parts, first one is close right behind the tail pipe so its mostly just exhuast noise, the second part is about 10 feet away from the side so you can also hear other engine noise.
here it is
I PMed moderators, but nothing happened, so if any mods want to delete this and put this link on the sticky, go ahead.

Rep Power: 0 I didn't mean that the intake affected the sound of the exhaust, but you can barley hear it in the background, so I just wanted to explain that I don't have an aftermarket intake which would sound different. So the only thing on my car that would sound different from a car that is completely stock, is the exhuast.

Rep Power: 0 I can't say that I gained much power with that, and I didn't expect to. If anything, there seems to be a little better throttle response.

Rep Power: 0 You shouldn't say that there aren't any gains at all.... there are gains, they are just so small that its not noticeable. Sure its just an axle back, but think about it, you are replacing the stock muffler, which is designed to be very quiet, but also very restrictive with the exhuast bouncing off walls and around corners... you are replacing it with a muffler that flows straight though with only some sound absorbing material around the pipe. So there must be something to gain increasing the effeciency of the flow and reducing backpressure and allowing the engine to use less power expelling exhuast gases and putting more power to the wheels where it belongs, however small and insignificant.

Not true. HKS claims that in their development they found that the stock piping was actually quite good, and that with the addition of their axle back system, the found better gains than with a cat-back system. Thats why the HKS Hi-Power exhaust is a catback exhaust system in all other applications, and only a rear section or axle back for our cars.[hr]

BTW, greatcasa... what do you think of the clip, are you getting this exhuast?

Rep Power: 0 Hello moderators? I was hoping to have this exhaust clip put on the sticky, but nothing has happened. If it has anything to do with the site being upgraded and whatnot then I understand that, but otherwise I don't see why it wouldn't go on the sticky.
