ZEX nitrous

With ZEX™, you keep you hands on the wheel and your eyes on the finish line.
When armed, your ZEX™ nitrous kit kicks in at full throttle automatically thanks to the
ZEX™ Nitrous Management Unit.
So while your competition is trying to find the nitrous switch, you've already won.

Ok so let me get this straight, if i am at a stop and i floor it the n2o is injected, is that safe at that low rpm/speed

you dont use nitrous at a stoplight cuz that means your in first gear and you NEVER spary nitrous in 1st or 5th gear cuz there the weakest gears.

Actually a buddy of mine has A 2001 honda civic auto, with custom intake manifold and direct port nitrous set up and he sprays in first gear and just roast the **** out of his tires , he does it for fun not when racing.

If you're at a stop light, the system is armed, and you floor it......then yes, it will spray.
This is bad for a few reasons:
1. Your stock clutch will probably slip.
2. Your tires will spin more so you won't take off any faster.
3. 1st gear is very very short so there's no use spraying. (most of the time I don't spray in 2nd gear either)
4. 1st gear is very weak

I have mine set up to spray at WOT. I installed it to where you really have to mash the gas before it sprays. And as an added bit of protection, I don't arm the system until I shift to 2nd.

That guy doesnt know what hes talking about. 5th gear is weak, but the reason you dont spray in 1st is because you get
to much tire spin, and we all know what that accomplishes, nothing. Also, the gear is very short so your really not accomplishing
a whole lot. Some people who get good at launching manage to accomplish using Nitrous in first gear. But for the most part its pointless.

ive heard that with that WOT kit, it wnt engage until a certain rpm while at WOT, the rpm u choose. so say for instance, you set it to 3800 rpms and then your at a stoplight and mash the gas, it wnt engage until you reach those rpms and then u can set it to shut off at a certain rpm as well......idk how you solve the problem about spraying in first though,

2001-02 Honda Civic Nitrous Wet System (40-60 hp) 71002

Performer EFI Nitrous Systems: New listings
Performer EFI Nitrous Systems are the best way to get a major power increase in your fuel injected late-model street machine. These systems work with your stock computer for a simple installation. “Dry” systems get extra fuel for the boost in hp from the stock injectors. “Wet” systems use a direct port style nozzle to introduce nitrous and fuel into the intake runner. Performer EFI Nitrous Systems include a 10-lb. nitrous bottle (shipped empty), nitrous solenoid, aircraft quality steel braided hose, nitrous filter, jet selection, aircraft quality fittings, and all necessary switches, brackets, and hardware for a complete installation. Power increase shown in parenthesis.

Ok, so 1st gear isn't that weak. Whatever. But it is easier to hit redline and f**k something up or start throwin codes if you spray in 1st. Nothing good comes from spraying in 1st in a civic. AWD is another story. It will just do more harm than good. I've known a few people who frequently sprayed in every gear (including 1st) and their tranny didn't last that long. And first gear was one of the gears that went out. So just thought I'd be safe and tell everyone that there is a risk. Of course with the stock clutch, there is less risk because the clutch will slip before any damage is done to the transmission. But whatever if you think I don't know what I'm talking about.

Isn't there a management system where you can delay the timing of N2O
to spray? Most 60 foot times are 2.3 to 2.5
If you set it up so that it will not spray until 2.5 seconds,
you will be at full throttle in first gear and by the time
you shift to second, at WOT you will be spraying.

Correct me if I am wrong
