well, your question is a little abstract...
first off, the best exhaust manifold; Header, would be the HP Long Tube 4-1 Race Header. other wise going with a custom manifold for a turbo application is the other option, but only if you are doing a turbo set up.
as far as the intake manifold goes, i think you're refering to just the INTAKE itself, because so far there is only one aftermarket/custom intake MANIFOLD available for our cars, and that is included into a full blown race engine set up for the D17 which is produced by KMS, and costs just over $5000 from what i hear. there are rumors of other application civic and focuz intake manifolds fitting up to our heads, but as far as im concerned, its all rumors until i see some CLEAR and UP-CLOSE pictures. if your refering to the INTAKE, which is what i assume you were refering to to begin with, i recommend either the INJEN Race Division Cold Air intake, or the K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake, or the AEM Cold Air Intakes. as far as the AEM is concerned, there are a million and one different versions of that intake on ebay which all perform just about the same way, with the exception of the filter, and lack the brand name sticker. if thats the route you plan to take, AEM, then to save a buck or two, just hit up ebay, and look for the intakes which look identical to the AEM, but are silver. Goodluck!!.

Well, since you live in California and have an LX; no "Header" you get will let you pass emissions. But, if you don't care about emissions, the Kamikaze header is the best LX header. It will fit with your stock exhaust perfectly. Whereas the HP racing header will require you to buy an exhaust made for the EX.

The manifold is not Universal its a Focuz maniflod its for the b16 and d16 engine. It takes a lot of work lots of shaving to get it customed on there. They do it down here a Rtec in st.louis. The red car is my buddies. His car is all show its an automatic and its pretty quick, he also has 19's on it now.
