Anyone know a good exhaust system for a 2002 civic ex???

Hey guys,

I'm kinda new at this modding thing and don't know too much about it yet. All I have done to it is a AEM cold air intake and a Eibach Prokit drop. Looking for a complet exhaust system by Christmas.....Any suggestions on what the best setup is for my car. Right now based on my research I think I'm looking at a DC sports 4-1 Header and a Greddy Evo II cat back system.....Also, does exhaust systems give anymore added hp or is it mainly sound?? thanks.

Well, first you should've searched.

But, if I were to get headers it would be the HP Racing 4-1-1 w/ high-flow cat.

As for exhaust I would go with the either the Skunk2 Megapower, Tanabe Racing Medallion or the Greddy EVO.

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
The Tanabe Rspec has been dynoed and shows the most Hp gain and the most Torque right under that is the Greddy EVO so your choise some say the Tanabe was high pitched but i beg to differ i have the Rspec on my car and its sounds deep and throaty i love it it was well worth the money!

you must not have done much research. The hp header with high flow cat is the best to get. For catbacks, everyone is going to tell you that the one they have is deep and not ricey and has the best gains. When realistically they all do about the same thing, almost nothing. The tanabe is rated as the highest HP gainer why? Because it is probably the only one that has been put on a dyno by someone other than the company that made it. Look to see if you like how the exhaust looks and find out whether that exhaust is known for being loud or soft because like I said, everyone thinks their exhaust is: very deep, non-ricey, not too loud, and gives the best gains. Just look above this post for examples.
