A lot of people are mentioning the NX Kit as the best HP gains for the buck, where's the best places to order it online? Is it easiest to let a shop install it to save the hassel and responibility, prob so?

Rep Power: 0 Ok definately add the V-AFC or S-AFC depending on which model you have. And yes I put the V-AFC on there because unlike what most people think the V-tec does work just don't set it's engagement too high or too low. But yeah it's tricky to setup but its real nice

Rep Power: 0 hahaha you rice boys make me laugh. You spend all this money on your car and you still only do like what? 14 maybe 13 seconds in the 1/8th mile? When I bought my SS back in June the first weekend the clutch was nice and broken in I took it out and ran a 7.8 @ somewhere around 97mph, I can't remember 1/8th mile, that's bone stock mind you. After I put as much in mods as you kids did I can probably do like a low 6.
And whoever said there fart cans add horsepower, it adds maybe at the most 8-10 hp, which is not a noticable increase.

One thing that bothers me about all you jap-wagon boys is that you buy all these rims, body kits, side skirts and all this body stuff to make your car LOOK fast and you still run 13's! It just makes me laugh!!

Anyway - I think this could be a really good post. No I don't have any info on parts (have like zero right now) - but I will soon (few months)
I want to try and dyno them if I can - even if it cost like $100 bucks - we need to dyno parts to see what helps and what blows. Rep Power: 0 Even funnier part about his statement... 7.8 1/4 mile. sorry not in a stock SS. Yes the car has some amazing power but not that great I know a couple people with em one stock, One highly modified. Basically the stock one on a good day will run low 12's to mid 11's depending on the launch seeing as how the torque is high on those cars. The modified Camaro runs mid to low 9's so yeah I'd say before you go to flame people you should at least put some research into your statements cause well you're basically a moron. As for our cars they may not be fast but who cares about speed if it's what you want. Guess too many people lose sight of that.

A great civiv that will run for years after yours has died for $17,000
and if someone really wanted to spend the money, yes a different engine could be shoehorned in that would be capable of spanking your camaro in the 1/4 and still be well under your cost
