I recently was driving my 02 Civic EX VTEC and when I punched it to accelerate the engine stalled. Pulled over and tried to start: Crank -> start -> stall consistently. It turns out my timing belt had jumped... Not sure how many teeth. I replaced the belt with a new tensioner pulley (from the dealer). That fixed that, but upon driving there is significant power loss and unusual sound at higher RPMS. The car idles fine and is drivable, but very poor acceleration and I suspect I have valve damage. I just did a compression test and these are the results:

Compression test

1- : 157psi

2- : 152psi

3- : 166psi

4- : 177psi

So, the obvious question is now what? Cylinder 4 seems normal, but cylinder 2 is way off from that. Anyone know the "acceptable" range specs? Do I need a valve job? Thanks!

Fair chance you have bent a (?) valves. Noise being the giveaway. Comp pressures are odd but in passable range for a 'tired/worn' motor
Sooo.. IF you want to fix this..you DO need to either replace or rebuild your Cyl head.
