02 Civic automatic, slight hesitation when changing gears

Hi guys, new to the forum here. I just recently bought an 02 Civic LX with automatic transmission. I notice that there's a slight delay in changing gears when I'm accelerating, for example entering a freeway. I've driven Chevy and Toyota automatics before and neither have quite as long of a delay when shifting. It almost feels like a manual. There's no problem that I can perceive but I'm not sure if this is normal.

Also is anyone able to do a Carfax on this VIN? 2HGES16502H508946

Drive an identical car and see if it is the same as yours.

I bet these kind folks can help you with that. http://www.carfax.com/entry.cfx
