Next step(s)?
I am looking for some help on several issues with my D17A1. I currently have the 3 basic bolt on upgrades plus new coil overs, sway bars, wheels/tires,strut bar, short shift, and will be getting a new clutch soon i hope. The main thing i am looking for is some guidance on where i should go next. First since i was just thinking about it, what is the easiest way to remove my damn speed limiter. I am not happy with 110. Second, i have several thoughts for my next performance upgrade but i want some input on what i need and what i am just thinking i need. I would like to get a cam but i am having some trouble finding one that i can just buy and throw in. What are my options for internals? Does anyone make forged guts and cams that i can buy and put in, or am i stuck with getting specs and having someone machine them for me? Do i need an EMS yet or do i wait until i start getting deeper into the motor itself? In general, i am wondering what to do next. Thanks for any tips and i love this forum. I am glad i joined. BTW and not to be a d**k but please do not tell me to put a k20a2 in it. I will do that on another civic later on down the line. I love my D17.

Re: Next step(s)?
I'm not telling you how to disable your speed limited, you don't need to know.
There is not a cam available for a d17a1.
There are forged internals available for d17s, however minor machine work is standard for any engine build.
Currently, you do not need EMS and wouldn't benefit from it.

Re: Next step(s)?
So not only am i aggravated that i bought the Eibach bar kit without looking much at other brands, i also didn't look under my car to see that the LX doesn't even come with a rear sway bar. I am probably just going to sell the Eibach and get a Progress kit since they have adapters for the rear(even if they are retarded expensive) and since their rear bar is 22mm instead of a measly 16. I just cannot wait until my Energy Suspension bushings get here.

Anyone ever done Energy Suspensions poly control arm bushings for the front n rear? I bought some and tried to change em out but it took me like an hour to get just 1 bushing swapped so i'm wondering if anyone has some ideas on an easier way to DIY or if i should just take em to someone with a press to do it for me.
