02 civic lx D17A1 which wire is my signal wire
i have a 2002 honda civic lx D17A1 im looking for my signal wire from the o2 sensor so i can hook up my air to fuel ratio gauge someone please help i was hold it was the black wire is that true ?

uhhh correct me if im wrong...but doesnt our cars use a narrowband? i thought you could only add a wideband sensor and put a gauge on that. like the AEM UEGO

if you tap one of those cheesy and useless a/f gauges to your factory sensor (wide or narrow band it doesnt matter), you will screw up your engine. the voltages from the sensor to the ecu will change, and the ecu will make wrong adjustments to the engine fuel trims. the only way to safely add an a/f gauge is with a separate O2 sensor welded into the exhaust pipe (wideband if you actually care about accuracy, narrowband if you just want a light show).
