Just read 11 threads on pullies...

Do you guys know if the Unorthodox Ultra SS pulley set (crank, power steering, and alternator) has a vibration dampner on the crank pulley?

If it does have the vibration dampner, do you guys think it is worth it? I don't plan on getting a sound system and like Grey I wouldn't buy the SS set unless it had the built-in dampner to reduce the vibration on the crank just like our stock pulley does.... Our civics to not have a damper..you can use the pulleys.. but if you a sound system and more than 400Wrms of power to it.. you're screwed...

I agree, I don't think our Civics have a damper type pulley, that is usually for 90 degree V type engines, not an inline 4. Look here

Link to FAQs at UR

Think that should satisfy your quesitons...

Some great info there, read the whole page....

Ok, sorry if it's flogging a dead horse, but if I have just the AEM pulley set, and I run a 400W amp, will I be having issues? Do I need to go back to stock or upgrade my battery or somethin?
-Rob

EDIT
I also have a neon underbody kit and some interior lighting, if that also makes a difference.

No dimming problems, I haven't put the system in yet, the only thing I notice is that my headlights (I have PIAA H.I.D.'s) get a bit brighter when I step on the gas, but I doubt it's very noticable. The Neons haven't been wired yet, but if I were to go to the underdrive pulley and add my 2 10"s and my 400W amp, it seems like I'll be having a problem, it'd be nice to know ahead of time.
