Re: gettin a exhaust

i duno? i thought having a larger header coming out of the engine, more air would be able to leave the engine quicker......?? resulting in a better flow? i mean with an intake and exhaust a header would do SOMETHING rihgt?? or am i jus dreaming too much. i wasnt expecting a huge gain in horsepower or liek some huge gain in power i just thought it would help with something. plus having a new aftermarket header does look alot better than oem.

Re: gettin a exhaust

basically exhaust and intake is just for looks and sound, they dont do much in the range of horsepower at all, maybe around 5-10hp max more than stock...and thats pushing it

yes im sure it probably does sound like a weekwacker ON YOUR CAR *6th gen*

again, if u have not heard it, dont bother to put ur .02 in and downgrading the magnaflow for the 7thgens.

the magnaglow (i state again) FOR THE 7th GEN CIVIC....sounds ******* awesome. its DEEP...SMOOTH...but not too loud. nothing like a weekwacker.

and ive compared teh magnaflow side by side to N1, hks, RS...etc (for the 7th gens)

(RS is nice too)

Re: gettin a exhaust

bigger pipes = loss in back pressure, something you need for power.

Re: gettin a exhaust

yea, thats cool .just make sure after when you install it go to a proshopn have em weld the part I told you bout.itll save you the time n hassle later of getting a neww clamp every so often. plus when u weld it, itll prevent any air/pressure loss

Hey Veracious where did you find it for 340 shipped? I'm interested in buying one too, but the cheapest I found it was on ebay for $365 shipped.

Re: gettin a exhaust

cardomain has it for 410, but they have a 105% lowest price guarentee, if you can find it somewhere else online for cheaper they will beat that price, aslong as it is a dealer of magnaflow and not a auction, i found a place for like 360 shipped online, and i showed them and they approved it and gave me a discount code, i will find the site for u later so you can show it to them also and they will give it to you for that price i said shipped.

Re: gettin a exhaust

Yea I have no idea why you guys think it sounds good. I just went to the magnaflow website listen to the 01-05 civic NON si exhaust and was diappointed. My .02 cents.
