Re: Back off tailgaters!!
i had a friend who tried rigging one of these to his neon a while ago. u put a "spark plug" for lack of a better or correct word into the pipe right before his muffler...he'd just start his car up until it was hot, leave it in neutral and rev it up, then pressed a lil button that made the plug..um..spark? and it shot out 10-15 ft flames...

Re: Back off tailgaters!!
^ In neutral your gas is still igniting in your engine, not getting dumped into your exhaust pipe- it had to have been more complex then that, but I get the basic idea...
its kind of like a poor mans anti lag

thats awesome! ive always thought about running a line from my windshield wiper fluid tank out the back of my car so when someone tailgates me i can give them a little shower
Re: Back off tailgaters!!
^^ lol.... yea and i dono how complex it mustve been. he told me all he did was put in the spark plug and press the button
it sparks and spent gases come out the back...but in neutral theres still something blowing out the back of ur muffler. its still something gaseous right? i dont think air stops blowing out the back (you knwo what i mean by sayin air) when ur in neutral

Re: Back off tailgaters!!
When you step on the gas in neutral, your engine is doing everything thats happen when you step on the gas in gear, only differnce is that your engine isnt set in gear, and therfore its not going to drive away. Intake, pully, exhaust, spark plugs- everyhting works just like normal.
He must have ran a line from his gas tank, or had a secondary tank which it pulled from. If he stepped on the gas in neutral. I'm guessing he had it wired so that when he was in neutral, it allowed the gas to spray and spark plug to fire when the gas pedal was pressed... something like that.
I'm actually kind of curious how this thing works now.
