Brand new K&N Typhoon intake for sale - cheap!
I am selling a brand new, never been opened Typhoon intake (silver) for 01-05 Civics with 1.7L manual (on ebay). Item # 300031688614. Listing it for $110, which is far below anyone else selling it. I will send it to you ASAP too.
Here's the deal. I purchased this same intake from another ebay seller over 6 months ago. Waited and waited, finally after about 3 weeks I started calling the seller. Couldn't get anywhere with the idiots they had answering the phones, they said they didn't have the part in stock even though the listing acted like they had it available. I must have made another 10 calls over the next couple of weeks, finally after about 2 months I finally received the item. I put it in and I love it.
A couple of weeks after I received my intake, low and behold, I have another one sitting at my doorstep. They must have re-shipped the item after I made all those calls, they must have thought they either did not ship it or that the first one got lost in transit. I called the seller to tell them, but they didn't seem to care and didn't offer to send a pre-paid label for me to ship it back. So I've had this other intake sitting around, untouched, for awhile now and I've finally got around to putting it up on ebay.
In my description I said I traded in my car and that is why I never used it. That isn't quite true - I was just trying to explain how I had a brand new un-opened item, and I didn't want the other seller to go on there and see that I am trying to sell one of their shipments that they sent by mistake. Am I a bad person? I tried to call them but they honestly didn't do anything about it.
