Pics of New ****, Short Shifter and Bushings
Everything came in at once! Wasn't too bad of an install until one of the mounting points on the assembly decided to fracture. The weld on one of the nuts on the sheet metal broke when I was removing the bolt. I had to use locking grips on the nut while my brother used a sprocket to remove the bolt.
Should've been an hour job at best, but took a little more than two hours. Here's some pictures of throws between the gears. The throw is almost cut in half and the ergonomics of the RSX **** are inspiring. Only complaint is that the boot is not sized correctly so it dips down. Used a lot of dielectric compound on the moving portions of the Revo assembly. I lubed the shift linkage with WD40. Not sure if I'll swap the boot, I guess I'll just deal. I also used KumoSport metal bushings.
Very good opportunity to adjust the parking brake! I was able to do this rather quickly just by raising the rear wheel. It used to take about 8 or 9 clicks to set but now it's closer to 4 or 5 (can't remember). Enjoy!
