i like secret weapon the best cause it has a very well designed filter and lower sound than any other intake.

secret weapon is great...i got one about a month ago. It's freaking sweet.
I have not even done anything with the ram air kit it came with, but i did not see any problems with it as far as fitment..
maybe someone who has actually installed the ram air parts would be better to comment on it though..lol

the ram air just looks goofy imo. and i doubt it does much. the filter already has a built in velocity stack to move the air faster.

Thanks for the video. I heard that the Typhoon can be used as a CAI or a SRI. Is this true? If so, does the video have it installed as a CAI or a SRI? Also, I live in Chicago so I see a lot of snow, and I am getting worried about hydro locking the engine after reading up on CAI's. Does this happen a lot? Does the filter have to be submerged in water to cause any damage to the engine? Will just some water getting sprayed on the filter kill it? Really, what kind of rain/snow is safe to drive in?
Thanks again for all the help. Really appreciate it.

i bought the SRI, since i have an auto and the CAI would not fit. but yes if you get the cai, it can be made into an sri for winter months with alot of rain and snow. to be safe, no rain.snow is safe to drive in, because the filter is always sucking in air. even a splash will make it to the engine and possibly cause damage. a small amount may get burned off before anything happens.
