maybe, this is the second time ive seen him post a thread that he was leaving, i checked his profile and he hasnt logged on since he posted it 3 days ago so who knows
From what I've seen one of the most informative people on this site. Not to be rude to anyone else. But he was like Grey. I'm pretty sure I never saw him put anyone down for the Q's they had. Always answering everybodys Q's with facts and good info. Also did a good number of helpful DIY's. And I'm pretty new to this site, so I'm sure he may have done more than that.

i have seen alot of people helping out but unfortunately most of the knowledgeable ones have to be dicks about giving info out (FI forums to be exact). I always believe in sharing knowledge. what good will it do you to keep everything to yourself.

well most of the members who are mean to helping out others just get pissed because the same question is asked millions of times, geabox didnt actually care about that tho so yea.... DIY member needed
I know I'm going to DIY everything else I do for my car. I think everyone else should to. It helps out alot when your new to this. And it saves everyone money, and gives people more pride in thier work when they can do it themselves the way they want to.

yea i already DIY exhaust, full suspension, intake and a few other things. It feels good to know that you put the blood, sweat and tears into your own ride without paying someone to do it
i always try and help other civic owners. just last month i detailed my friends 05 civic with her help. we spent 6 hrs but it looks great when we finished. and it feels good not to ask for money like all those stupid install places that charge $100 just to install a stereo.
In a way it's kinda like a Pay it forward of the car world. Not to be stupid or anything. wouldn't it be nice to stomp out over priced mechanics and install tech forever. Wow, this thread topic just completely changed and I just relized it.

lol oh well. ya its nice, i mean for some things i still find a good shop like brakes, and stuff im too lazy for. but some of those things they should be ashamed for like charging to replace a burnt bulb or installing neons or something.

Weird
and a bit scary
So he was messing with our heads. And maybe trying to say he needs a break.

I think its proven that both products work as they are intended to adding a couple ponies and sound good. The fitment is to little or no fabrication. I'm not sure what the difference in price is but I have the V2 and love it. I got it used along with the megan cat back exhaust for 350 on ebay. I don't want to be biased bc I have the V2 but if its in within your budget just get the damn thing and be done with it. PPl here keep saying its not worth it but I sure as hell can't afford a turbo right now or swap and I think its def a big improvement over stock. Just my 2 cents.

Re: K&N Typhoon or Aem V2?
Hey gearbox. I'm completely new to this forum, and my '04 civic. I am trying to decide between the V2 and the Typhoon myself. Could you email me the video you said you had of the Typhoon please. I am at brownchief@yahoo.com
Thanks for the help
