I say intake. It's cheaper, easy to install, and has a nice sound. I like the hiss it makes when you turn the car off. Or do suspension mods. Some of those are still cheaper than a cat back. I think suspension mods also equal hp because the faster you can get trough the turns, then the quicker your going to be.

Definately do both just to make the engine breathe a little better and make a little more noise. I'm satisfied with the small perfomance/noise level of my car with just intake and exhaust. I was never expecting either one to make a world of difference and, to be honest, neither on their own make a HUGE difference on this car. Both in conjuncction help just slightly. But i wouldn't go so far as to say that they ONLY make noise.

Is it worth your money? Absolutely. Don't let anyone tell YOU what to do to YOUR car, no matter how ridiculous or seemingly wasteful. It's obvious we all like to waste money on our cars or we wouldn't be discussing this stuff.
