Will These Work
Will These Work
I just went to teins site and saw these but they don't have them for an EM2 but they do have them for an RSX. Will the rsx hood dampeners work on my carbon fiber hood.

From looking at it, looks as if you just loosen one bolt from the hood mounting hinge and bolt that bad boy on, then attach to the fender's seam. I think if you really wanted to make it work, you could.

I looked at the Tein site and it says they're only to be used with the stock hood, but I don't think that it would make that much of a difference. Since it's carbon fiber, you might only need to install one and pawn the other one off to someone else who has a CF hood...
The cheapest I've found them for is $125.

Allman,OG member used to make custom shocks for hood like 3-4 years back.
Cost him around $75 at the most
$125 is way too much for hood shocks imo.
