hi i was wondering if ya can help me i got the APC header for my 2003 Honda Civic EX and the header is look not short like our stock and iono if it suppose to come with a extension pipe for it to install it in da car i check everywhere online for the extension only found that there only selling the header piece itself so iono if there any extension piece for cuz when i look at the stock header it shorter iono if the apc one will fit do ya know??

If its a long header, it should come with a high flow cat, like the HP Racing header.

but i checked most of the site that sell the APC header and they only show the header itself nothin else no high cat or nothing here and example:

why go with APC? I think even OBX headers are better than that....and maybe same price if not a little cheaper...."you cant spell crap without APC"

could someone jux help me with my question instead of dissing the dame brand i aint here to get ur opinion on the brand i jux need help i thought this was a site to look out for ppl with the 7th gen not to be hating or dissin but i aint got np with wat ya think tho i jux wanna see if anyone could help me out hey i aint trippin i got the header for free lol...

yeah you will need an extension pipe for it. i had that same header which believe it or not lasted a long time and is still in great condition. When i got mine it came with an extension pipe. Bring it to a shop and tell them what you want and they can hook you up.

99.9% APC stuff IS crap. I have had no problems with this header though performed good and it didnt break, so thats an A+ in my book.

oh finally someone answer the question thankz for the info so...do i jux tell them to make the extension pipe and how much do u think that gonna cost me and do u feel any different with it on ur car as in speed?

the main difference in was in exhaust flow because it replaces my catalytic converter. I have a LX motor which the cat is built into my stock exhaust manifold so by putting the APC one in there it replaces that whole system. It didnt give me like crazy hp/tq but you can feel a difference. for comparison my car stock ran in the high 16s low 17s, after the header,intake it ran low 16s consistantly.

so if i go to the shop and let them make me a extension for it they gonna have to take out my catalytic converter rite and that not good cuz i got da EX model?

no not exactly.. the apc header was made for the ex model. its designed to be bolted up to the cat converter using the extension pipe. you didnt get one with it so they will have to make you an extension from the header to the cat. do you have a pic of it?
