Type B Rear Lip Question

Not sure if this thread is in the right place, but here goes. I am interested in both the front and rear lip Type B. My question is if the rear lip will still be able to go on my stock rear bumper. The reason I ask this is because I had a shitty nasty *** OBX Axle Back exhaust system when I was a civic newbie (like 2 months after i bought my car back in '02). I have since upgraded to a full cat-back Tsudo system with 2.5" piping (currently in my garage since I have to visit the stae referee, for guess what MODIFIED EXHAUST). Anyways for now I am using a stock muffler and stock piping. The crap *** OBX Axle Back system failed after about a year and I started to smell burning plasitc in my car at high speeds. I checked out my audio system thinking some wires may have been melting or something. That was not the case it was the muffler melting my rear bumper. I now have a fist size hole in my rear bumper on the underneath, it is almost not visible but you can still tell it was melted from the heat of the exhaust I guess. I was just wondering since I have never installed a lip before how they attach to the bumpers. If need be I can post a pic of my rear bumper tonight once I get home and have access to my digital camera.

Oh and for all of you FYI, never buy any OBX exhaust products, I would guess there short shifters and stuff should be fine but i mean there exhaust is whack.

a lip kit just clips on to your stock bump, i got the type b front and it just wraps around the bumper then you can put two screw on the back on the kit on each side then attach some double sided in the middle section

edit: oh yeah and for the rear you either gotta lower your exhaust or cut some of the rear kit to fit w/ your exhaust but it attachs to the rear bumper the same way.

ok cool, thought so. And it should hide the hole too right. Effectively allowing me to avoid replacing that rear bumper right?
